If Ozeki Alarm is running on an Android phone or on a laptop that has a built in battery, that makes it possible to operate during power outages, you can use it to send alert about power failures.

To connect your Monitoring PC to the mobile network you have various options. You can connect wirelessly the same way as mobile phones connect. You can connect to the SMSC of a mobile network operator over the Internet using the SMPP, UCP or CIMD2 protocol or you can use an on-line http sms service. In either case it is a good practice to use multiple connections to the mobile network for fault tolerance, load balancing, least cost routing and backup routing purposes.

This guide gives you information on how to forward a received contact ID alert to multiple e-mail addresses. The alert comes in as a phone call to a contact id receiver connection, and the Routing table is used to add a recipient e-mail address and to forward a copy to 3 e-mail addresses.
